And Hallo-week begins

“Halloween is the one day of the year a girl can dress as slutty as she wants and nobody can say anything about it”, Regina George.

It’s that time of year again when girls wear skin-tight clothing and animal ears and call it a costume. As a society we accept this.  If I ask most of my guy friends about their opinon on this, they  give it a big thumbs up.  If you ask most of my female friends, they are split. 50% for and 50% against.   I find that the older we get the more appropriate it becomes to wear less clothing. Even our parents begin to accept this.

I personally am indifferent.  I believe that what you wear projects an image of yourself to the world.  If you want people to believe you are a modest person, dress modestly.  If you dress scandalous, expect people to think you are.  I agree that judging people is not a good thing.  But everyone forms a subconsious opinion based on what people wear.

So this hallo-week (week and parties leading up to halloween) , I ask you to not dress modestly, but to think of what image you are projecting of yourself to the world.

  1. I really enjoy the quote at the top! But you are very right the way you dress sets an image of yourself for the way others see you and its best to think about how you want others to see you before you just go for it.
